Clear Assured helps organisations identify and remove barriers from recruitment and talent management policy, process, and practice which have the potential to exclude under-represented groups including disabled, BAME and LGBTQ candidates.
Clear Assured is part of The Clear Company - recognised leaders in the provision of inclusive talent management services. Clear Assured aims to become the standard for the D&I Culture Change.
We have been working on expanding and improving Clear Assured for the last few years. It is an ongoing project that was conceived to grow sequentially, as we learned about the companies behavior. Our previous work included users' roles and permissions, user management area, and progress tracking.
The Clear Assured platform was envisioned as a tool used by companies to become inclusive employers. The first objective is to help companies gain a clearer understanding of how they can support all potential and existing employees. The next step is that companies apply the knowledge to their policies and procedures. The Clear Assured platform offers the resources and keeps track of the progress being made.
Another drive for change was that the number of tasks added to the website was growing fast and the platform wasn't fit anymore for the amount of added content.
Our main goal was to provide users with more clarity and autonomy over the progress achieved.
We wanted to move the focus from the company's overall progress to the user's chores and progress. With that idea in our minds, we searched for a solution that would support this agile approach. Further down, we sought the need to transform the content and change how the resources were being used.
On one hand, we grouped the resources-articles under a new umbrella called 'Inclusion hub'. This is similar to a knowledge base area - a library of articles with videos and attachments that users can browse and filter by topics and categories. On the other hand, we created tasks that would encompass the resources' learnings and provide specific actions. The two modules - resources and tasks - were linked through topics and categories.
The new design uses the agile boards which enable users to easily see the company's tasks altogether, as well as only the 'on focus' tasks or the completed ones.

We have previously worked on the Clear Assured project - the last bit we worked on was launched in 2018 and it included the Company Progress, the Things To Do (current tasks) and Things To Consider (current recources available in the Inclusion Hub).
