We were asked to create a logo and a business card for an accountant - something that would look like a monogram - an industry-specific approach, but with a twist in order to illustrate the client's personality.

 

Accountancy is an important part of every business and is a complicated one that needs to be done by a specialist. That's why the people outside the financial area look at it as "don't want to get my head around it" kind of job. Based on that idea, we wanted to add a twist that would slightly break the seriousness of this industry.

The logo is composed of a monogram and an icon. The monogram, as the graphic mark, is industry-specific and it also makes the name more memorable, while the checkmark suggests a job done right, delivered well and on time.

In designing the business card we followed the concept of an envelope with the logo as a seal, as accountancy equals handling many papers and files (traditional way or digital-era specific).
