A design for the web and print - online PDF files
Project requirements
Having designed and implemented the new presentation website, as well as the user interface for the stock management area, we were asked by Cirdan to design the layout for the online PDF files, so they align with the new design direction.
Users that have an account on the Cirdan platform have the option to see some of the data available on their accounts as online PDF files that they can just visualise in the browser, they can download as a PDF file or print it.
The PDF files were to be accessed by users and read online. Though the digital environment appeared to be the most used by the Cirdan platform users for reading these documents, some other facts sparked a new perspective. Amongst the audience using the platform and hence accessing the files, the vast majority is aged 40-50 years old. This pointed towards the need for a print-friendly format. We designed the layout in A4 format, with both portrait and landscape versions.
