Branding and Design

We use design as a visual tool to express the goal of a product and its company. Our graphic work is built around the final user's wishes and expectancies.

Applying a predefined workflow scheme to a graphic design project helps to keep the project on the right track. It ensures that we get into all the information we need to know as we move forward on the project's timeline, towards the delivery term. However, not all projects follow the same path. Some require cutting some corners, others require more documentation and additional work phases. We look into the project quote and needs and apply a methodology that best fits the project's nature.

The following steps are most common to the branding projects, together forming the predefined workflow scheme we use as a default.

We build the business profile

This is the first step in completing the brief. It is essential that we understand technical aspects like how the business works, what are the main specific processes and who are the people served by the business. Looking from a more humanist perspective, we must extract the ground values guiding the business, as well as identify the novelty brought by this business, in comparison to the similar ones from the industry.

Then we have a look at the ideal image

Whether you are a start-up that needs a voice or an established business that needs a change, it is essential to frame the message you want to communicate and the way you want to be perceived by your clients. Identifying the business personality and the tone of voice within your brand-related items are key to sketch the future brand profile.

Confronting the information layers

Gathering together the technical characteristics of the brand, the business personality and the industry research will have offered us until this moment the necessary understanding to start working on visual assets.

We sketch the optimal design directions

Following the design direction set in the previous steps, we create one to three moodboards (also called style scapes) that will encompass slightly different design styles. The moodboards contain imagery, colors and typography elements that follow a specific design direction. These can be looked at as graphical debate materials as they will further narrow down the path for creating the graphic elements quoted.

Creation phase followed by delivery

The creative process follows the previous favoured directions and consists of designing the brand items. One by one, they go through the process of design, approval and editing, when the case requires.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT WORKING WITH US

I appreciated most the time they took to advise and explain the entire workflow, the chosen solutions and why those solutions worked the best for my project. Top work and friendly guys.
