The majority of the projects we've been working on so far consisted of both design and programming services. Amongst the first steps of a project, there is the user journeys mapping phase. Based on these we acknowledge the risks and flaws users might encounter and lay down solution scenarios. The User Experience is carefully followed and built-in as a foundation stone in all the projects we develop. The User Interfaces we create are crafted upon the UX foundation we have previously generated.

User Experience is everywhere

A website is built around the user experience, as it concludes form market researches, user interviews, user journeys mapping and other similar instruments. It's the core of the website because it tells us what features to build, how to hierarchies the information and much more others. It also dictates the overall visuals - it gives us hints about what colors to use or what typography would be a better fit to invite for content browsing.

Personas and user journeys to understand the User

Depending on the project complexity, there are numerous tools that can help in understanding the user needs and accurately predict their behaviours regarding website navigation and browsing. It's very important to understand the user very well, so we can make decisions for him while planning website structure and building features. Personas created as user profile archetypes either from bespoke user research studies (users interviews) or from the project brief are great ways to bring valuable user-bio information to the team.

Responsive design is the norm

It's been years since the technology progress has obliged the web to adjust to different devices. Responsive UI has become the norm, rather than the advantage. The UIs we create take into consideration all the visual adjustments the interface must iterate in order to provide a pleasant experience to the user. We create the web UIs at three breakpoints, corresponding to the main devices used: desktop, tablets and mobile.

Clean visuals

The interfaces we create for our websites follow the user goals and not the other way around. We do look to offer a pleasant visual journey to the user while guiding him to achieve his goals on the website.

Empathy for the user

Helping the user reach his goal on the website is our goal since we start creating the website. All of our efforts and choices are directed towards the user. To help, guide and occasionally educate him.

Ongoing improvements

We always say to our customers that a website is never really done, completed. There are product needs and users goals that translate in projects. But both UI and UX are to be continuously studied, debated and improved.
